Sephora
In the historic heart of Florence, in an iconic location characterised by a large skylight that illuminates the entire sales area, we created the flagship store for the Sephora brand.
The complex structural refurbishment work required the complete demolition and reconstruction of an area covering some 250 m² on two levels.
Area: 250m2
Florence, Italy
2024

The ground floor houses the entire sales area, while the first floor houses offices, changing rooms, break rooms and washrooms. Work included the removal of the existing lifts, closing of the lift pits and the construction of new internal balconies, including one offering an elegant view over the sales area, to be decorated by a plant display complete with irrigation system.

The shop windows were entirely replaced in accordance with the brand’s design specifications, while the interior was given a thoroughly customised finish and dedicated samples in line with the highest aesthetic and quality standards dictated by Sephora.
Distinctive elements include ribbed cladding made from an innovative plastic material, installed only in the most representative points of sale, and large (1×1 m) marble-effect floor tiles chosen to add brightness and prestige to the interior.
Collaboration with the client was particularly close as the project grew and evolved as it progressed, with continuous phases of adaptation and optimisation. Sa Ga followed each step carefully and flexibly, coordinating the needs of the French parent company and those of Sephora’s Italian team, ensuring consistency, quality and adherence to deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
The completed project demonstrates our commitment to customer satisfaction and our ability to transform the most complex situations into excellent, harmonious results. Sephora’s new point of sale blends in perfectly with the charm of Florence’s historic centre.
The store opened in March 2024.
